The memorial wall reflects the Veteran information established from initial research, which the City received from a historian. All of the following qualifications must be met, to be included on the memorial wall:

  1. The individual must have served during the war listed on the memorial, such as (Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, or Vietnam War)
  2. The individual must have been a resident of Rogers or Hassan township during the time they were serving in the war

These requirements allow the Veteran’s Memorial wall to have a consistent reflection of our hometown heroes who have fought to protect our freedom.

For living veterans, who meet all of the qualifications listed above, will need to download and fill out a consent form with their name, branch of service, rank, war served, and residential address during their time of service.

For deceased veterans, who meet all of the qualifications listed above, a family member may download and fill out a consent form with the veterans name, branch of service, rank, war served, and the veterans’ residential address during their time of service.  Also, please make it clear if the Veteran perished at war or not.

The completed consent forms may be mailed to the Rogers Public Works Office, where the consent forms and residency information will be verified with the historian before sent to the engraver. These requests are at no cost, and will be engraved on an annual basis, due to the availability of a mobile engraver.
